Our Elders . . .


Paul Folland is the Associate Minister of Letchworth Garden City Church. He and his wife Caroline have served at Letchworth Garden City Church since 1998. Paul has also been to Hillsong International Leadership College. Paul also serves both on staff and as an elder of the church. 
  Michael Sijuwade. With a strong passion to serve and a heart for people, Michael believes that, every member of the body of Christ has something to contribute, to their families, local church/communities and society at large. His call is to encourage others to become all that God has predestined them to be. Michael is married to Ola and blessed with three lovely daughters.
  Rev Dr Philip Walker is an Elder at Letchworth Garden City Church and trained as a secondary school teacher before attending Theological College and obtaining a Bachelor of Divinity degree. Philip is an experienced speaker and a gifted communicator. He is married to Eileen and they have two adult children and two grandchildren.
  Tom Halliwell has been an Elder of Letchworth Garden City Church since 1999. He has been married to Tina for over 25 years and they have two teenage daughters. Tom chairs the finance committee, leads the altar team, is involved in discipleship and hospitality ministries and has a heart for biblical truth and revival.
  John Draper is married to Rosemary and has 4 children. They've worshiped and served at the church since 1992. John's heart is for relevant, active church and for mission. Following the churches connection with Compassion UK he was invited to work for them and is now their Church Relations Director.
  Martin Gardner first joined Letchworth Garden City Church in 1985 and is passionate about the local church, believing it should be friendly, meaningful and relevant. Martin is married to Andrea and they have two children, Lauren and Ross. Martin also leads the audiovisual team and during the week works as a project manager for the civil service in London.
  Peter Sterling is an Elder of LGCC. He and his wife Liz have served at LGCC since 2004. He is a member of the worship team (bass & guitar) and has a heart for excellence in whatever he does. He works as part of a sales team selling musical equipment.
  Simba Maposa has been involved in the pastoral visiting, children and men's ministries. He and his wife Liz have been coming to the church since 2001, and they have 2 girls.
  David Adam has lived in Letchworth for 23 years and has two children and seven grandchildren. He and his wife Irene have been involved in various ministries at Letchworth Garden City Church since 2001. His heart for the church is that it would stretch people in their faith and give opportunities for learning and applying that knowledge both in the church and the community.
