Welcome to
KidZone: The Terminal
The home for all people aged 5-11 @ L G City Church. Here you’ll
find information on our children’s work.
At
KidZone we’ve begun a journey of becoming like Jesus (being a
disciple) and to reflect how exciting that is, we’ve turned our
building into an Airport!
The
anticipation of where we might go next in our learning, what skills
we might learn, what fun we’ll have and where we’ll end up are all
exciting parts of our programme.
Each
child has a passport with which they can collect AirSmiles each week
(2 if they bring a friend!). At different stages along the way
they’ll receive prizes to encourage them on their journey.
Sit back and
enjoy the ride? No, not that kind of children’s work. The children
are encouraged to own their Terminal by doing different Jobs
For God (ministries). This provides great
opportunities to learn what it is to work in a group, give up their
time and see fruit from their hard work as the Creator of the
universe works through them!

Who runs all
this then? Well may I introduce myself. I’m David Joshua Baker and
I love God more than life. I think He’s excellent. I think
He’s the best crisp in the packet; the top dog; the icing on the
cake; the be all and end all!
I think the whole universe revolves around Him and I think He loves
it (the universe that is)!
I also have a
tremendous excitement for seeing God’s Holy Spirit (His power that’s
in all Christians) released and expressed in and through children. I
want to let the little children come to God and find eternal
satisfaction in friendship with Him. (I’d also like a huge piece of
chocolate in the shape of Spongebob Squarepants!)
If you have any
questions about the work we do here at ‘The Terminal’ please feel free
to email me.
